TEMPoTrack Plus is an intelligent
monitoring system that can offer protection against
vaccine wastage due to freezing, effectively providing a
simple domestic fridge with the same safety mechanism of
a dedicated vaccine fridge at minimal cost.
The latest innovation
in electronic temperature monitoring systems enables the
supervisory controller (regulator) to “learn and
remember” optimum fridge performance.
In the event of a
disturbance such as significant changes in ambient
temperature or door ajar
the compressor of the fridge will be on for longer
periods which can cause fridge temperatures to drop
below 2oC. There is the potential for
freezing.
The
systems can detect these abnormal events and take over
thermostat control and will attempt to emulate optimal
fridge performance previously “learned” as depicted in
the figure below.
