Kitchens in Melbourne
Five Meals on Wheels kitchens have now installed TempTrack™
for monitoring and recording storage temperatures in their fridges,
freezers, and coolrooms. The systems also provide these kitchens with
alerting via phone when storage temperatures exceed the limits which
prevents the costly loss of food products. The systems provide fully
automated temperature monitoring 24/7 and a full temperature profile,
including the alarm time and alarm duration which is displayed
graphically on the computer in the kitchen office. Records of
temperature history are also available for inspections/audits.

$700 is an estimate of the cost of
TempTrack™ for a kitchen requiring the
monitoring of one fridge, one freezer and one cool room. Alarm alerting
(via autodialler) is approximately $300. Installation costs vary
depending on the kitchen layout and range from $150-$300.

time and duration, min/max temperatures when temperatures exceed limits
► Stores temperature data in a database/view
data in reports and graphs providing traceability for inspections and
audits
► Eliminates manual recording of food storage temperatures so
saves time
